Found this lovely little Italian restaurant in Wellingborough. Went with a friend for lovely evening meal. Food was hot and generous portion sizes. Nice little touch with fresh bread and butter with the meal. The staff were lovely and there was a really nice atmosphere....It was busy but felt safe and relaxing. Its not the cheapest of places but worth the money if you are looking for somewhere with a bit of class.More

I absolutely adore this place. The food is fantastic and the staff are so lovely. I have been here on multiple occasions including for my 21st birthday. I recommend it to everyone I speak to looking for amazing Italian food.

The food is delicious and home cooked Italian dishes. Generous portions, great choice on the menu and the lumchtime set menu is super value. We have eaten here numerous times and always had a fantastic meal. Really friendly welcome and great service. Would be my...first choice of local places to eat.More

Although we hadn't visited for a while, made the most the the lunch deal (available Monday - Sat) where you can get a meal and a drink (lunch menu) for £8.50 each. Had the Carbonara and a beer. The little items such as bread and...butter being given free make a change for this family run enterprise.More

We've been here twice, once for an anniversary celebration dinner, and second on Christmas Eve with my parents and step-son. The menu is simply just too difficult to choose from, I could visit this restaurant every day for 2 weeks and still not know what...to have. Beautiful location, lovely decor, such attentive and friendly staff, and excellent food. Another one of the best on our hit list. Enjoy.More

We visited as a large party, having pre-ordered. We waited around 30 minutes for our starters, which wasn't particularly a problem. Starters cleared, they began to bring out our main courses. They forgot one, so our friend was left waiting while everyone else tucked in....Most of us really enjoyed our food. One of our party had lamb, which he found very tough, so he didn't eat it. He didn't make a fuss but upon taking his plate the waitress, who I believe is one of the managers, quizzed him on what was wrong with his food. He tried to compliment them on the sauce but, when pushed (pretty aggressively) he said that the meat was tough. He was told, stroppily, that nobody had ever complained about that before. No apology; no explanation. They were very hostile to him for the rest of the night. As a large party, we wanted to pay separately. This appeared to irritate the waitress/manager further. When asked, she snapped "well, I don't know how we're going to do that." We got the bill and a menu and did it ourselves. This is such a shame because the place was lovely while the women's fathers ran it. Most of the food is lovely. This woman's attitude (and attire - I don't want to see her gussett while dining, and flicking her hair everywhere is unhygienic) has put us off eating there again. Her arrogance and aggression is not conducive to getting repeat custom. What a shame she is ruining the business the two lovely gentlemen built up. She should not be front of house.More

I have been going to this restaurant for years for family events or date nights, it's not particularly cheap but definitely doesn't break the bank either. The families that run it are very lovely and welcoming and always make a point to recognise returning customers....And finally, the food is AMAZING - I come back to the Carbonara everytime because it was just so amazing. The tortellini portion size is not amazing, but isn't that always the case with tortellini in restaurants? Anyway, probably the best restaurant I have found in Wellingborough, and with it being right in town it is a prime location just hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the centre.More

Morrison’s car park is directly behind the restaurant. You can park there or there is quite a lot of free parking around that area.

Hi Chris, From memory there wasn't a children's menu but they did either chicken nuggets or spaghetti Bolognese - our 18 month old had the spaghetti a few times and he loved it. I haven't had time to do a review of the... More
