Great menu and specials board. Good selection of beers and friendly staff. Also has a dining room that can be used for private functions.

We visited here on holiday. The chicken linguine was really good and the chocolate fudge cake was delishious. Dog friendly as well.

Lunch in the Peak District is a weekly event for us and it's always nice to find somewhere new that delivers what we expect. The initial greeting and friendliness of the staff either makes it or kills it and here they have got it right....More

Just got back from a really nice early evening meal on Father's Day. We had the surf and turf off the specials, turkey roast, scampi, and gammon and eggs. Desserts for us were waffles, bakewell pudding (mine. Delicious) and chocolate fudge. The pub is great...More

The food is really good. The service is polite and friendly. Great place to eat. We've eaten there a few times and never been let down.

i was camping nearby in a motor-home when stumbled upon this lovely pub.good food ,good beer, great staff.they will also let you stay overnight on there car park in a camper van or motor-home.
