I ordered a buffet for Mother's day including sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, pork pies and scones. Absolutely delicious, home cooked, fresh food and such good value. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Thank you for being so accommodating, you helped to make the day perfect 🌷

We’ve been to the Roost for both breakfasts when we could sit in and the takeaway Burger nights during lockdown. We have had excellent service every time and absolutely amazing food & drinks! Definitely worth a visit, would recommend. Thank you! X

We visit the Roost regularly, the burgers are excellent, the beef sandwiches are delicious and the children love the ice cream. The local produce is great quality as well. To top it off the service is excellent. We love it and glad it’s still open...during this awful time we are living through. Well done at the Roost 💕More

A fabulous little cafe selling delicious food and drinks. We are regular customers at the Roost whether it's for a quick coffee, a warming Hot chocolate on a cold afternoon, a nutritious lunch, a moreish afternoon cake or an evening treat ( Burger night being...a favourite) The Roost has been a breath of air in our village and we're so glad you opened Thank you 😋😊More

Great takeaway Burgers on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Great value and taste. Nicly grilled and not deep fried!

Before we were locked down AGAIN we’d made a habit if using The Roost for Saturday breakfast. The food is great and the service is top notch. Looking around (the menu & counter) this place is more than your run-of-the-mill cafe. There all sorts of...sweet & savoury specials to tantalise. Good to see a new business in the village. We wish them success and we’ll be back post-lockdownMore

Tideswel villagel is well worth a visit as is its church which unusually due to the pandemic was open to visitors. After a stroll a coffee is what we wanted but everywhere apart from The Roost seemed to be closed or offering takeaway only -...not much fun on a damp day. The Roost's excellent good sized flat whites were very welcome so we would recommend and return.More
