Lovely place to come after a walk in the Peaks. We had tea and cake - the cakes (especially the carrot cake) were absolutely gorgeous, extremely generous slices (big enough to share)! Really nice back garden with lots of seating, was really pleasant sitting outside in the glorious sunshine. Would definitely come back!

Have always loved Hathersage following a stay with the cub scouts "back in the day". Have visited Cintra's several times in past 2 years and it's always consistently good. Welcoming staff, great selection of cakes, I had bread and butter pudding with custard, and great coffee. A successful formula of tea, coffee, food and cakes. Popular with cyclists in the... More

Excellent friendly tearooms. Offers a good variety of dishes on its menu, the all day breakfast was real value for money even came with toast in the price. A stunning display of homemade cakes as you walk in and all look equally good and tasty although we didn't sample this time but we'll be back for afternoon tea. Service was... More

One bacon barm, one slice of fruit cake and two teas please. Simple. It's an easy stroll to Cintra's from the main car park in Hathersage. For cyclists it's just as straight forward. On the main street, nearside as you begin to go up the hill. There's a small outdoor seating area to the front, three or four tables downstairs... More

Called up and reserved a table for lunch today. Steak pie was as good as I remembered from the last time I had it here and Penny had her new favourite again of the Ploughman's lunch. The Ploughman's really is a comprehensive plateful. The Steak pie so tender and lean.... Pity we can't go every day! Julie and the staff... More

As Worzel Gummidge always said "mmm....cup o' Tea an a slice o' Cake" and if this too is your favoured special treat (like Worzel) then Cintra's is the place for you. I have been coming to Cintra's with my family regularly over the past year and have fallen in love with the place. Yes the Cake's are unbelievable but the... More

Popped in for some brekki with my partner, the second time this new year. The sausage sarnies and coffee were lovely and service on point as always.
