When staying at the Travelodge close by why go to the dismal Witherspoon pub next door? Turn left out of the square and walk a few yards up the road to where the flags are flying, The Glossop Cafeteria, and get friendly quick service, excellent tasty food and all for cheaper price than Witherspoon - and you will be supporting... This was our first visit here and we were very pleased with the breakfast we had. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had mega English breakfast! Very generous portion for little price. The cafe was very clean, nice and cosy. Overall very good place, highly recommended.

This was my second visit and I was well pleased with the food and its presentation. No quibbles about adjusting the contents of the set meal. Staff friendly and acoomodating. Service with a smile and at a very fair price.

A busy café near the town centre, it attracts a wide clientele from bikers to locals. Wide menu, big portions and silly prices - two of us dined for a tenner! We had the special omelette meal - huge and well filled.

I was planning a trip to Glossop with my class of 9 Children with Autism. I had previously spoken with the manager to find out if we could pre order our meals to minimise the waiting time, that was not a problem. At the cafe we were treated courteously and food arrived on time. The food was delicious, hot and... More

Went with my partner.prices is alright in cafe, not high. Had an English breakfast, all was good, except sausage quality ( cheapest one), my suggestion is to change the sausages for more better quality. Is easy to find supplier for better quality sausages for almost same price;)

Having used TripAdvisor to find this cafe we thought we would try it for Breakfast. Excellent food, particularly fond of the mushrooms, good portion sizes and nice coffee. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the host friendly, overall really good

Had breakfast here many times over the years. Quality of food is excellent. Service is great and fast. Had many a hangover in here but today I'm fresh as a daisy. Highly recommended.
