The food here was pretty decent. Opted for soup followed by the leak and potato pie which was great and reasonably priced. However, the service was a nightmare. Staff didn't know where food was going. There seemed to be very poor communication with staff as we would get asked by three different people each time we wanted the order something.... More

Visited for mothers day with the family and had the most perfect day. Service was very quick despite it being a very busy day and the food was excellent. Prices were also very reasonable especially in comparison to other places. Lovely sunny day so we also got the opportunity to sit on the decking area with a nice cold drink.... More

A really nice old-fashioned (in a good way) country pub. Good food. Good atmosphere. I have visited several times, and never been disappointed. Well worth stopping in if you are in the area.

We have just stayed at the Peels Arms for two nights, two snowy, wet nights and we could not have received a warmer welcome. We arrived in time for supper on Friday and were glad we did, delicious and hot, tasty and home made. Just right after a long drive. We asked for two packed lunches to be made up... More

The Peels is our favourite local pub. Cosy, always great food, friendly service and great value. So much so we decided to hold our wedding reception there. It was fantastic! Helen and Phil pulled out all the stops - we were amazed. The wedding decor was perfect, the food was amazing and the sun shone! Our family and friends loved... More

Peel's Arms is one of those pubs where you can go for a meal and be assured there'll be something on the menu you will like and the quality is always excellent (I have been going for several years). The prices are reasonable and the wait time is usually less than 30 min for the mail course. It's my personal... More

The Peels Arms is a friendly pub serving very good food. There is lots of choice from sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes to meals with a specials board too. My husband had the special lunch deal, 2 courses for less than £9.00. He was delighted with his tomato & mozzarella salad followed by liver, potatoes & peas. The staff were happy... More
