Such a welcoming and friendly place! The food is really excellent, we've really enjoyed it.It is a favoutite of ours now. The fact that our dogs have been spoilt rotten by the landlord and the chef is s bonus. It is definitely worth a visit.

Traditional 'no frills' pub situated on the edge of the scenic Peak District in one of the least scenic places by the A6. Decent beer and friendly but there are plenty of places nearby that are far superior

I'm sorry you found your visit unsatisfactory. Our locals are a friendly bunch as I'm sure you would have found them to be if you had stayed long enough. Once again, I'm sorry you it wasn't to your liking. Phil

Yes, but it is one Sunday every month. You will have to contact the Grouse to find out more details. There is also live entertainment on a Saturday night. Hope this helps!
