Lovely friendly staff. Food came out quick and they were happy to box up my leftover pizza. Massive choice of drinks. Great atmosphere too. Dogs welcome too.

A classic English pub serving great food and real ale, we had the steak pie and meat pizza, two different meals from the menu and both very enjoyable, we are planning a return visit.

We enjoyed good service and tasty food - sausage and mash speciality speaks for itself, but we had two dishes from the "specials" board - venison casserole and trout - both were excellent.

Drawn in by delicious food smell. Great atmosphere too and friendly staff. Bet it's cosy by the fire in winter. A refuge any time of year. Airy modern dining room as well as more antique quarters.

Just looked at their website. It says they're open for food from 8 am to 9 pm. Wouldn't hurt to call to confirm.
