So after a lovely walk with our dogs round the ladybower reservoir we booked into the ladybower inn for an early tea, when we arrived the reception was good, the dogs were welcomed and our table was waiting and reserved all fine so far, and the place wasn't overly full or too busy. We ordered drinks and were given menus... More

What a beautiful location and great atmosphere but the food was such a disappointment and significantly over priced for obviously frozen pre-packed foods. There was a group of us who had drinks and food, we had undercooked frozen pre-packed powdery chips, rubbery baguettes, soggy burger bread, fatty meat, one order was wrong and the food came out very quickly (5mins)... Just came in for a couple of pints after a walk round Ladybower. Very welcoming staff and clean facilities. Would be perfect in summer months sat outside.

Really good wholesome on the whole British food quite a reasonable price. My only criticism is that there is no where to sit other than at a table, no relaxing sofa's so its a bit like a canteen.

This place used to have local beers, now only offers Bateman's and Doom Bar. The Bateman's beers were undrinkable and were left undrunk.

Came here for Sunday lunch and it was good. The staff seemed really nice. All our food came really fast the only downside was my Sunday dinner was the only one which they had forgotten to put peas on. But we didn't say anything as it was busy and didn't want to bother the staff while it was busy. The... More

Went to this pub after a cycle ride around the Derwent reservoir; so we were really hungry! We all had different meals, but my son had chicken dippers and said they were really tasty, and the burgers were top notch. Staff were friendly, and it was good value for money. Would definitely return.

Stopped in here after a long morning walk around Derwent Dam. Nice friendly bar staff, we all ordered hot beef sandwiches with a bowl of chips. Food served quick, piping hot and tasted delicious (especially the chips!!). Would call in again, especially on a nice winter day to experience food and a drink in front of the fire.
