We was here 16th April around 4pm for an early tea we liked the look of the meals for. £5 I had a curry pie made from a nan bread and skin on fries and was a nice meal and my wife had the classic...More

Dinner was very good - we had the selection of three starters which was a superb alternative to a main. Very tasty too. We stayed at the travelodge next door so had breakfast too. Not very good quality - very small portions and poor quality...More

Myself, my husband and 2 children (aged 6 and 9) called in at The Stepping Stones for our evening meal on Monday 09/04/18. We were staying in the area whilst visiting family during the school holidays. We arrived at about 6.15pm. The restaurant appeared quite...More

We love this spot and have enjoyed many walks here over the years. However due to recent heavy rain the path and stones were inaccessible. It is a shame the man in the car park didn't tell us this before taking our £3! I made...More

About what you would expect really from a chain pub restaurant. Food was ok - better than I expected. Staff friendly & obliging, service a little slow. Some nice seating areas down the side & a children's play area at the front. Plenty of parking

We were lucky enough to come in before it got busy so the service was prompt and the food arrived in good time. I’d advise against coming in at peak times as it’ll be noisy but other than that I can’t fault it. All in...More

Ate here while staying at Ashbourne Travelodge, while visiting Alton Towers. It was £50 for 3 adult and 2 children having a main meal and a drink each with a couple of sides. Portions sizes were good and everything was hot and tasty.

Had a meal here a few times while staying at the Travelodge next door. Lovely food, helpful and friendly staff and very competitive prices. I think they have started to serve breakfast at the weekend now but I haven't tried it. Overall, would recommend this...More

Mappleton restaurant that is dog friendly, whatever its size, is the Okeover Arms, if the Stepping Stones outdoor area is not suitable due to weather or temperature conditions.

What did they say? I find that even as a regular I am greeted with sour faces and bad attitudes. I think the staff need to be provided with more well-being and support if the job is so bad they take it out on customers.
