Lovely Sunday lunch, not usually a meat eater, however the roast beef was delicious, fair choice for the children, and extra requests were dealt with brilliantly

So many places to eat around Ashbourne .. how do you choose where to go? Luckily, before our holiday at the Caravan Club site, A friend had recommended the Fenny Bentley Coach and Horses. It was also listed in the sites 'Places to eat" folder. We called in on the way back from a day's tour of the attractions for... More

Eaten here on many occasions and rarely disappointed. Cosy bar area with open fire on cold evenings and also more formal restaurant areas. Wide choice of food and children friendly. Don't get this pub mixed up with another of the same name locally!

Plenty for three and very nice. The warm peppered mackerel was lovely. I had the lamb rump steak (medium) with port and currant sauce and sautéed potatoes.... More

This restaurant was recommended by our bed-and-breakfast owners. They were spot on the place was great with the food to match. It was new for us to order our meal at the bar. Visited here whilst staying at Ashbourne Heights. Only took 10 minutes to walk there. It's a lovely traditional pub serving lovely food. We had our four year old with us and the staff were more than accommodating. There's a good selection of children's meals and nothing was too much trouble. Our food was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit... More
