Slow service, comment from staff that was unsolicited and slightly odd. Very good food and drink once it came.

Cafe serving vegetarian food (limited menu but good), run by the Manjushri Buddhists from the local Coniston Priory. Charming service, good food ......... different (and all the more welcome for it) to the usual cafes. Worth a visit.
I love this café in the middle of bustling Ulverston its quaint and fun, the people are lovely and its very laid back palce to enjoy food or cakes and excellent coffee
