This is a lovely place to have lunch and take in the fabulous views of the estuary and beyond. The food was lovely - great choice of sandwiches and the homemade cake was delicious. They also have beautiful ice cream. It gets very busy so clearly the host and staff are doing things right. If you are in Ravenglass, visiting... More

11 of us stopped in for a coffee and cake. There was a good choice of homemade cakes and scones including gluten free options. Service was friendly, helpful and the staff served us as quickly as possible. Our apologies to anyone who arrived after us as we ate all the cakes.

Only popped in here today for a coffee and a piece of cake with a couple of friends but thought I'd drop in a quick review. Friendly service and the two types of cake we tried were very nice indeed. How it fares elsewhere I can't say obviously, but no grumbles from us on what we experienced

This tea room is situated in a bed and breakfast hotel overlooking the estuary. It serves tea in China cups and saucers and the best scones ever. Birdwatcher should take their tea outside and watch the birds on the estuary. Scones and egrets.....doesn't get better.

2 Fresh baked scones with jam and cream and enough tea to swim in, fab and all for £7. A short walk from the railway too so do pop in.

Good pot of tea and selection of cakes and snacks and main meals with an excellent view of the estuary and the lovely sunsets that you can see. Free parking is limited otherwise its up the road to the pay and display car park which is only a short walk away.

Decisions, decisions – tuna panini or tuna salad? Sitting outside on a glorious summers day, of course, it had to be a tuna salad for me, which duly arrived with a mini granary loaf; Jan had her favourite tuna panini with red onion and we both shared chips. My salad was fresh and superbly presented, but it over-whelmed an insufficiency... More
