Took the train from Eskdale to Ravenglass and nipped into this pub for a pint and some lunch. Table consisted of burgers, freshly made sandwiches and baked potatoes. Food was lovely and plentiful. The lager went down a treat too. Loved the trivial pursuit cards on the table, great conversation starter.

Had a lovely meal in the ratty Arms we took two of our grandchildren, we sat in the part of the restaurant that replicates a train carriage, the children loved it. The food was good we recommend the chocolate brownie sundae phenomenal !!! Very good value too. Good idea to book in advance.

We were staying in the area and wanted a dog friendly pub and this fit the bill, it's a great place, very relaxed, nothing pretentious just good pub food at a very reasonable price, so good that we came back the following night. We loved the Trivial Pursuit questions on the tables, good fun.

My wife and I have visited the Ratty Arms twice in the last six months and on each occasion enjoyed good value and substantial meals. Also, the service was fast and pleasant. The lounge, in railway carriage style, next to a main line railway platform is a great feature. I was less impressed, however, by the life-size cardboard cut-out figures... More

Thank you for your review. We get many children in here and all of them loved the animated witches stirring their smoking cauldron at Hallowe'en. The display was not really aimed at adults. I don't know which country you are from but the Queen of England is the World's longest reigning monarch and we are all incredibly proud of her... More

Went here for an evening meal while staying in Ravenglass. A real surprise with lovely staff, lovely food and friendly staff and other customers. The location, right on the edge of the railway, is also great.
