Sadly we only booked for the one night but given the marvellous service will certainly return for a longer break. Nothing was a trouble to the friendly staff. The bedroom was well appointed with views over the garden. It is worth just going to have dinner in the panelled dining room

Pre ordered menu as for a large group at this family run hotel. The dining room is panelled and has views across the garden an to fields and fells beyond. The service was excellent as was the meal. Every effort made by the staff to make it a very special day for our friend.
