Followed the brown signs into the village to have a break during a journey and found the bakery. What a great place, good menu, good food and good service and all reasonably priced.

Visit here regularly. Lovely cakes, sour dough bread and wonderful quiches. You can even order and collect! Polite and accommodating staff too. Along with the excellent grocers and butchers I would strongly recommend a visit!

Our takeaway service also offers generously filled sandwiches made with our own bread and fresh homemade soups. Alternatively you can sit in our modest, cosy 32 seater cafe which offers free Wi-Fi, magazines, chalks and blackboards (!) or on comfy sofas in front of the wood burning stove. Our menu has been created around our bakery produce offering down-to-earth, good quality food made from flavoursome ingredients which are sourced locally and organically.
