Me and Mrs stopped by for tea. I had the haddock, chips, peas and homemade tartar sauce with lemon. Spot on! Mrs had 'dirty chips' (chips with pulled beef and BBC sauce). Spot on! Great welcome, great service, great food. Thankyou 👍 see you again next time we're in Crewe 👍

Visited early on a Friday night as a party of 9. We were greeted straight away and the waiteress pushed tables together for us to all sit together. The menu is quite limited but is ok for a quick informal meal, mostly burgers, fish and chips, chicken etc. Our drinks were bought to our table and the food followed quickly.... More

The food is fantastic and plentiful. Staff are lovely and helpful. The restaurant and bar area are very clean. The cheese and onion pie is beautiful. Prices have increased quite significantly but still reasonable compared to other places.

My partner and I came to Duke of Gloucester today, where we were visited straight away by Shannon (?) who seated us. The pub was warm and clean, and we were seated by a lovely open fire. Another waitress, who's name I didn't catch then went out of her way to make sure I could have a vegetarian friendly roast... More

Ate here with a group of business colleagues. Very reasonable price, good selection on the menu of all the regular pub favourites and plenty of it. Service good too. I would recommend the pigs in blankets/ black pudding starter! No complaints - would definitely use again!

Had a roast beef Sunday dinner and the food was ok I'm not going to rave about it but I ate it all Yorkshire pudding was out of the freezer the beef was nice though It's sort of what you expect from a chain pub. Staff are friendly and pleasant though.
