The restaurant was very helpful both in planning the event and on the day. We were given a private part of the restaurant which was great for both children and adults. The food and service were excellent and my Mum really enjoyed her 'do' .

Excellent food and good service. Have visited twice, once with my husband and our motorhome and we were allowed to park overnight having had an evening meal there. Went again later as the food was so good. Very generous portions and good value for money.

A very well presented restaurant/ pub. Our food was nice and fresh but a little overpriced for being relatively ordinary. Menu was limited. Nothing to shout about, I don't feel a mad urge to return. But we had a pleasant evening with friends.More

Beer garden was a huge hit with the boys Staff were lovely & service very good Carvery was basic, potatoes a little too crispy, Yorkshire puds too crumbly to eat. Would eat there again but probably try the menu over the carvery.More

Just curious about the cheese sauce that was brown & seemed to Melissa to be peppercorn sauce. Is it a pre-prepared sauce or made in-house from raw ingredients ? Thanks

To reassure you all of our sauces are made to order from real ingredients no pre made, processed or packaged products are used in our kitchen. In the case of the blue cheese sauce we make it using homemade veal Demi glacé... More

Description
Set in the picturesque village of Offord D'Arcy between St Neots and Godmanchester, The Horseshoe Inn Restaurant successfully combines an old village pub and a gourmet restaurant. Known locally as The 'Shoe, the 395-year old period building has been extended but retains much of the original features and charm. The bars offer both low ceilings and rustic style, with exposed beams with Inglenook fireplaces. The frequently changing menu allows you to experience internationally influenced dishes such as Thai green curry or fillet steak with potato rosti, spinach and a blue cheese and brandy sauce. Dishes often carry a wine recommendation on the menu to help you choose the right selection. For an average of $25 per person, you can enjoy a three-course meal here, and should you choose something you don't like, they will offer you another choice! The Horseshoe appears to be lucky after all!
