Visited with my partner this Sunday. Excellent three course Sunday lunch. Plentiful and very tasty. Great environment in the British restaurant. Walked through to look at the Moroccan restaurant and also the open bar.... fabulous. Not sure I would want to take a dip in...More

We were very disappointed with this. We have been to the Thai before and enjoyed it. The decor is wonderful and it had the potential to be a lovely evening with drinks in the lovely Moroccan conservatory. Even a nice outside area to go out...More

I have visited Crazy Bear a few times, stayed in the hotel twice, had afternoon tea, dinners and each time I was overwhelmed by its beauty, scrumptious food, the best service! Would go back there anytime:)

Design: We were seated in the Moroccan lounge which overlooked part of the outside swimming pool. Seating was very comfy as we had a corner sofa with lots of cushions. Plenty of space for 2 - could easily have seated 6-8 people comfortably around our...More

From the other reviews I've read, it would appear The Crazy Bear has a Marmite scenario - you either do or you don't! Well, we went today for Sunday lunch (groupon voucher) and have to say we did enjoy it, but can sort of understand...More

My wife and I visited for dinner - very excited by the decor and the first page of the menu that described how they sourced their beef and pork. Despite this we chose neither; we had the chicken (my wife left half of it) and...More

Gold lame, plush velour and underground meeting rooms make this a weird yet somewhat enthralling experience. Quite pricey but unnervingly attractive and certainly an Hotel that I'd revisit. The staff were very helpful and rooms well equipped. Ideal for a centre of town stay or...More

In and out here. Found a table but didn't find any service. We left after 20 minutes as despite it being early evening no one came for our drinks order. Will not return here or in central London.

We booked through Opentable and bought a voucher for 2 fish Thai platters with champagne. The Thai restaurant is situated a couple of doors along from the main restaurant and has an intimate feel to it. The food was really good, the service was professional...More

This establishment appears to be thriving. Full on a Monday evening in September. I am not sure why! The tasting menu was underwhelming. No culinary skills were demonstrated. The decor was interesting but not for long and the music was far too loud and far...More

Description
The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield opened in 2008 to spectacular international reviews including Conde Nast's Red Hot List for best new hotels in the world. The oldest documented building in Beaconsfield, a fifteenth century coaching inn, has been meticulously restored and elaborately designed to provide dramatic architecture and uncompromised luxury. The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a unique oasis in quintessential England and the antithesis to bland hotels.
