This is my local Chef and Brewer. It is clear that the manager works hard to get things right. Good food, served hot! We had the Sunday special slow cooked beef on the bone, excellent. Polite waitress, very attentive. It was bustling Sunday evening, must...More

This is a great place, comfortable seating, very friendly staff, lovely food and reasonably priced. Our two waiters, Ben and Renato, were efficient and friendly, Ben is the image of "Renee" from the old sitcom, "Allo Allo" based on a French cafe during WWII. Our...More

I really like the chef and brewer chain of pubs and over the years I have visited a fair few. The boot and slipper is now my local one unfortunately. It is just so hit and miss. I've been here and had some amazing meals...More

Good size portions, good quality, great staff, usual beer choice, just a good place for a Sunday Dinner visit to have a chill day.

This pub has changed a lot for the better since we last went there some years ago. Plenty of space for diners plus a nice bar area. Good sound pub grub menu, and certainly for the two course menu it was good value.

Well I would not regard The Boot & Slipper as a noisy pub at all. We have often had family meals there as it is by way of being our "local", and have never been disturbed by other diners (or drinkers). I would recommend... More
