I’m amazed that this place was so quiet. We went twice. Best margaritas we’ve found in Akumal...and better than most places I’ve been. The spinach salad was delicious. I ordered lasagne bolognese. It was amazing! My husband ordered Alfredo and loved his as well. Damion...More
I was very much in the mood for carbonara for lunch so went to Que Ondo. Much to my dismay, pasta is not served until dinner time. Oh well...ordered the grilled fish tacos. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Generous portion, as well. The...More
We stopped at QUE ONDA after our visit to the lagoon. We LOVED this place. The food was excellent and our waiter, Demian, was outstanding! We would definitely go back here! Best fish tacos and margarita I ever had.
This restaurant is located between the lagoon and the ocean. It feels like you are sitting in the jungle. Service and the food were excellent. I had the shrimp tacos and would recommend giving them a try. The quesadilla was also excellent. Additionally, the price...More

Que Onda is a very nice place. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is also excellent. I will definitely go back.

So went there based on high recommations, unfortunately disappointed. Fried cheese with marinara sauce was great. Lasagna had plenty of meat, just no seasoning. Ham Alfredo was average, sliced sandwich ham instead of large chunks. Ordered lemonade and got limeade. Great atmosphere though.
Small family-run restaurant with excellent food, especially fresh pasta. Takes cash only. Outdoor seating with nice lighting. Very close to Yal-Ku lagoon.
