The restaurant is close to the water, however, it has a sad feeling. While we were there a number of ex-pats were meeting to learn to play and instrument and there were some musicians. The drinks are okay but the food was below average-even the guacamole (really in Mexico?). There was a strange smell like a cleaning fluid even outside.... More

Good place to have fun with family or friends. There some Mexican musicians entertain the place. We do no order food, but we tried some local beer "Corazón de Malta" was delicious.

Everything was badly seasoned. Shrimps tasted like they were on the verge of spoiling. Every vegetable included in the dishes tasted like it was rot. Waiters were not very smart/helpful, so the service was bad as well. We are never coming again

Discovered this place as we set about to walk on the malecon. Popular and justifiably so. Friendly, polite staff. Great 20oz beer to boot. Lovely place to watch the sun set, people watch those in the lake (swimming, fishing, playing), those who horse-ride, pick-up soccer games, picnickers, etc. The manager is very friendly and full of good information A wonderful... I believe the new operators of this location call it La Isabella, food is not as good as the old Posada served. Good prices for Holiday specials but buffet leaves a lot to desire.

We often stop in here for a cold beer while watching the activity on the Malecon. Their Mexican specials have always been good and the service is polite and friendly. My favourite time to go is sunset. A big plus is that this is obviously an expat gathering place, with friendly patrons, so you can meet many people.

Me and my partner were invited by our friend's family to spend new year's eve with them at this place. Dinner was just ok. It is not expensive at all. Waiter's crew consists on several young boys wich means they tend to get distracted easily. Bathroom could be cleaner and with better illumination. In the other hand, they have a... More
