We stopped in to try their schnitzel, and weren't disappointed. They have tables on the lawn that allow you to watch the comings and goings on the Carretera, and the mature trees and setback from the road make it not too much noise to be distracting. Worth a stop fpr lunch.

The 2nd week of my two month stay here in Ajijic I happened to be walking along the Carretara and saw a sign for Bratwurst! That's all I needed to stir up my curiosity and try this restaurant.

Yummy schnitzel. Fine flavors in potatoes and salad. Two unique herbal butters for bread. Satisfying!! Will return!! Dine indoors or out. Attentive service. Located in upper La Floresta area on Carretera in Ajijic. Be careful walking up incline to entrance.

I had the sausage on a bun. Its was also good to have a quality German Weiss to go along with the food. Overall it's as good as food in Germany but stuck in the middle of Ajijic.

On a cool, rainy evening last week, the idea of a German meal sounded good. We stopped into Johanna's and were not disappointed. I had the Weiner schnitzel and it was pounded paper thin, breaded lightly, and fork tender. My husband had the same, but with a wonderful mushroom gravy. We enjoyed the assortment of butters and mustards that came... More

Very good German food and German Beer. I lived in Germany for seven years and the good here is as good and authentic as I remember while in Germany. The staff are very pleasant and the atmosphere is very romantic.

Mostly German food on the menu. Good food and service. Prices are moderate to begin with, but they also have daily specials
