Wonderful Arrabbiata pasta, the complimentary focaccia and olive oil were top notch. The restaurant has an open air feel. Very clean.

Pizza bread is very good, lasagna (meat) reliably good. Red wine is Italian, served at proper temperature, an exception for the village. Service is warm and reliable. House salad is good.

I must admit that I was skeptical that a restaurant with such an extensive menu of Italian specialties could suffuse so many dishes with authentic flavor. Luckily, I was proved wrong. Our party of 5 sampled a variety of pasta dishes ( tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, ravioli with salmon, fettuccine primavera and spaghetti al ragu) and found each to be... More

I was well aware that Lake Chapala is a good place to discover new experiences, but this one really got into me. I visited it with my old folks and, believe me, it is very difficult to please an expert cook like my mum. Caprese salad to begin, simple and soft but firm tomato slices with mozzarella cheese: unpretentious, fair... More

A new location with outdoor seating gives another dimension to the restaurant. My wife generally orders the spaghetti and is never disappointed. Not much of a wine list, but those available are not bad. Most of the dishes are tasty and generous. Service is attentive and friendly.

Definitely overpriced. Service was not good. Food was only so-so. I don't understand why so many people go there. The only good part was the Tiramisu.

I always book a table and in winter, reserve a table by the fireplace as it adds to the ambiance etc. I reserved a table stressing as per usual that I must have my table in the corner by the fireplace. NO PROBLEM , Ok we will be there at 7.00pm. Get there at 7.00, and not only no table... More

Not impressed with initial look at decor. Paper pllacemat had been used before and was spotted. We asked for a glass of house red wine. Waiter looked dubious. I said "like merlot, cab?" Ended up with a weak chianti and highest price we have paid in months in Ajijic for a glass of wine. I ordered lasagna which had layers... More
