Ordered a sub par chicken salad sandwich and an espresso, charged me 15.00 straight up? Figured I paid 40%+ in sales tax. No salad was included since I decided to just grab a sandwich. Not sure if on purpose but $10.50 in goods purchased does not equal $15.00 including tax where ever you are in Canada. Thanks for the lesson... More

Wing Commander always finds that independent coffee shop where ever on this planet we land. After 12 full winter seasons in the Eastern Townships our 4 destinations of choice are equal in distance; Knowlton, Magog, Newport VT and Sutton. Our reason for a Sutton visit? We do the Glen Sutton road and gravel back to Lac Brome as one of... More

Casual, quiet, meeting place for coffee, breakfast & lunch mainly. I did eat dinner but was just sandwiches (albeit good homemade ones). They have specialty fresh ground coffee and homemade foods. Eggs were a little under cooked but tasted good. Friendly bilingual service. Not crowded but a popular stop for locals and tourists. Art on the wall for sale from... More

We had two breakfasts here during our stay in Sutton. The menu was excellent and included standard eggs, toast and sausage as well as yummy sweet crepes the kids adored. Loved the fried, shredded potatoes. Nice selection of teas and coffees as well. The service was efficient but not overly quick so it's not a good spot if you're in... More

This charming cafe has a wonderful breakfast menu and as much coffee as you can drink. The omelettes were cooked to perfection with fresh fruit and home fries...delicious. The restaurant has a cheerful buzz with lots of interesting friendly people. Highly recommend.

Nice spot, decent staff. Bad planning in terms of inventory. There was only one main dish left, the white wine by the glass unavailable and they were sold out of deserts. Admittedly we were well past lunch time rush, eating at 2:00, but it seems that the basics should be better planned out.

I have been to Le Cafetier several times. I always enjoyed the good coffee, foods and athmosphere. Service is prompt and friendly. Great place to go. Carole

It has a good menu but the kitchen is tiny. So don't be in a rush for a meal. It can be noisy but not over bearing. Enjoy!

Fresh food and great coffee, for breakfast thru to dinner! Friendly, service oriented staff providing both English & French menus as well as conversation in a quaint artsy town. Lovely outdoor patio for that truly French cafe atmosphere! Being a skiing tourist town =ND so close to Vermont makes it a perfect vacation stop over!

Though this restaurant doesn't have a large sign or stand out particularly, the food is so good. Had the warm goat cheese salad here and other friends in my group had other sandwiches and salads and we were all very impressed with our meals. We were very pleasantly surprised. Takes a bit of time to get your meal, but well... More
