I love this little place. ..the couple that runs it are quite the characters gong out of their way to make the kids in our group feel special with lots of attention and a treat at the end of the meal. The food is always great. ..had the breakfast omlette (bacon cheese) which came with hash browns, toast and tea... More

We arrived right at 9:00 AM as they opened. The Lighthouse restaurant was filling up fast, so we knew that we had chosen the right place for breakfast. Service was very quick and pleasant. The Eggs Benedict was very tasty. Great place for breakfast. Jonathan and Nancy

Typical in that you get good home cooked food, quick service and a homey environment. Nothing fancy but the food was as we had hoped. We had the specials....chicken noodle soup, English style fish and chips and western omelette. Also decided to give the milkshake a try as I like to compare them in different locales. This one gets a... More

Wonderful restaurant for a family breakfast. We were a table of 12 in a small restaurant. The staff quickly reorganized the back corner to accommodate us. We had coffee and tea on our table with in minutes. The orders taken and food arrived in a timely fashion. Food was good, they were quick and efficient and the prices fair! Couldn't... More

We've had breakfast several times over the past few years and it is consistent. You get a lot of food quickly by this mom and pop shop. Not fancy but it does the job.

When we arrived in Southampton we walked to the Lighthouse for lunch which was very good. The scrambled eggs, bacon and fried potatoes were very well prepared. I would not hesitate to recommend the Lighthouse for any meal you are looking for.

This place is a gold mine! It was crowded with lots of people enjoying the generous plates of home cooked food. We were seated fairly quickly though and soon were enjoying ours. We are already planning our return visit.

Try the place. Having come from the Prairies, it is a welcome change to find a restaurant that doesn't overprice you to pay for their cookie-cutter faux interior. Especially within a rather touristy environment! This restaurant has classic charm and a rustic feel. There's something "just right" about walking in, sitting down, and be greeted by a young waiter that... More
