My 'go-to' at the Offshore Bakery is always the custard tarts (crispy pastry, delicious firm custard). So good! And a nice treat (as they are a bit pricey). I also enjoy the Alpine bread and the walnut butter tarts.

We love their freshly baked breads... especially the Flax seed bread, sourdough and Alpine. My adult kids are addicted to the honey dipped croissants which we have to line up for on the weekends. Another favourite are the scones... we are using the cheddar scones...to make yummy tuna melts.! oh... and I have to mention the spinach turnovers that are a big hit with the vegetarians in the family.More

My husband is German, and some of their Swiss treats remind us of our German favorites: nut corners, gingerbread, and cressent moons dipped in chocolate. There are so many varieties, they make different ones every year. We love the hazelnut chocolate ones, and the orange/chocolate...shortbread. YUM!More

There isn't anything I wouldn't buy but I never leave without buying their flax seed bread and raisin tea biscuits. The lineups out the door tell it all!!!

I love this bakery. The bread is so amazing. Sandwiches are awesome as well as all the other food that they offer. I have never been disappointed. Long long line ups in the summer, but it is definitely worth the wait in the line!

This bakery is utterly awesome! We were visiting family in Port Elgin for Easter and bought butter tarts, hot cross buns, and other things. Everything was unbelievably delicious! In fact, we took the butter tarts home to PA, USA, individually wrapped them in plastic wrap...and froze them (in an airtight plastic freezer bag). Just had two tonight for dessert five months later and they are still great! Don't pass this place by. I can't recommend it enough.More

Cottage visits wouldn’t be complete without cheese bread, tea biscuits, and walnut tarts! Get there early on a Saturday not to be disappointed, as they close Sunday and Monday.

The best bread ever!! bar none. We stock up o bread while we are in Southampton and take it home for ourselves, family and friends. The gluten free variety is a must in our family and there is none better.....the usual store version is totally...unpalatable. The squares, tarts and pies and cakes are so sinful but once in awhile we treat ourselves. Our favorite are the tarts ...be it raisin or nut or butter. Be prepared to stand in line...the wait is definitely worth it!!!More

No. They are closed Sunday. Only go if you in the area the other six days of the week. Making a side trip...well if it was me, I'd pass.
