Amazing ... many types of seafood represented including lots of lobster .. broth is delicious and not too heavy.. Roll was tasteless and service a little slow but the star is definitely the chowder!

Small but busy home-style restaurant. Delicious fish chowder. The home style meals are good and worth the value. Nice desserts and pies. The "Mud Puddle" was a chocolate challenge! If there is a line-up, wait. It is worth it.

Great east coast food. The seafood chowder is the best in Cape Breton! We stop here every time we're passing by and are never disappointed. We also highly recommend the fish cakes and beans.

Wife had seafood chowder, I had fish & chips. Fish was excellent. Chowder wife said was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. I highly rate the food at this place for a road side place!

If you like chowder this is a MUST STOP! It is loaded with seafood ... and minimal potatoes. Really great flavor!

Went with a group of ten people (group travel) right before closing time but the staff still welcomed us. We all had the chowder and agreed this was the best chowder we ever had. If you are in the area, definitely a must!

Our experiences here were ok. The staff is very friendly and generally attentive. The food is ok. The main problem we had was that they were almost always out of what we wanted. I ordered a lobster roll....not available because they ran out of buns....More
