Food was pretty good as usual. Service was awful. Drinks made terribly and when asked for it to be fixed we seemed to be a bother. Have to ASK for lemon, even with things that are supposed to have a slice, notice on the wall...More

We have three double birthdays in our family and The Fo'c'sle has been the place of choice for our celebrations. We have not been disappointed, the food is delicious and the staff, especially Shane, are great (attentive, friendly and entertaining). If you want to sit...More

A fantastic place to get to know the locals. This is the oldest pub in NS. It has a warm cozy feel. We were there on a Friday night and had a fun time talking and singing with the locals. The fish and chips were...More

I had lunch and breakfast here. The portions are generous and good quality. The Admirals chowder was exceptional and I wished I had room to finish it. Service is prompt and friendly. Prices are very friendly too.

We eat here often and it rarely disappoints. I say 'rarely' because they do not have the citrus cake over the winter which is our favourite dessert! Otherwise it's a great place.
