Was disappointed they only offer a Jigg's meal on Sundays so I can't say that I have had the authentic meal of many Newfoundlanders. I did however have the 2 piece Cod with fries dressing and gravy. Opted to have the Cod pan friend than deep fried. I am sooooooo pleased that I did. Amazing flavours and the cod was... More

Earl's is a down-home Newfie experience with no pretentions. We both had the fishermans' special: pan-fried cod, shrimp and scallops, with a choice of potato (I had baked, husband had mashed) and veggies that were somewhat overcooked but whatevs. Our server needed to check about any type of wine on the menu (which states "red" or "white" but she did... We ate here 3 times during our visit to Rocky Harbour and Gros Morne Park and it was excellent every time. The cod was delicious and pan fried rather than deep fried. The servers were very friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. This restaurant is always busy so be prepared to wait for a table.

We had dinner here before seeing the Anchor's Aweigh Show. The staff were so friendly. Cod Au Gratin was my choice and it was delicious. They have Moose meat options and if it had been Sunday there was a Jig's Dinner choice.

On the way out of town slightly but worth the visit. No reservations taken so be prepared to wait for a table as it is very busy. Local fish and all home made items with friendly staff.

Good value for your money. If you want to eat in then get there early otherwise just call ahead for takeout (stop in beforehand and get a menu). Try the moose meat options. We had moose burgers (very good) and, at the insistence of one of our kids, moose meat pizza (excellent). Maybe it was our particular batch but the... More

If you are looking for good food at a reasonable price try Earle's. We were there about 5:30 and by the time we left there were people waiting. They also are busy with take out dinners. Would recommend, but get there early, especially when bus tours are in town. If there is a wait, it's worth it.

We ate here for dinner both of the nights we were in Rocky Harbour. We arrived during prime time and had to wait for a table because it is not that large of a restaurant. The food was very good with the exception of the fries which were not crisp. Our servers were cordial and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Recommended.

This is a simple restaurant but this is where you can get good meals made with moose and local fresh seafood. They are many other things on the menu but I love the local food. Service is good.
