The Little Dairy King does not look like much from the outside, but it has more charm on the inside. We stopped by for a late lunch. Service was good, the sandwich was okay, but the hot fudge sundaes were delicious. We visited during the shoulder season, so there were more locals stopping in, than tourists.

We went here twice the food was so good and the sunsets even better. The fish platter was excellent and the cod tongues delicious. Staff were friendly and obliging. The view was breathtaking.

This seems to be a favourite among locals and was recommended to us from the owner of our vacation rental. The long line-ups at the take-out window seem to confirm its reputation. Take-out it was for us as well after we had a look into the sparse and not very friendly dining room. We ordered the food and then waited... More

You know its good when the locals also eat here! I had their (homemade) burger with the works and their (homemade) fries. DELICIOUS. Burger was not greasy. There are many delicious ice cream choices, too. Friends of mine had the fish and chips and said it was the best they've had! You can't beat the view, too. Call ahead for... More

My husband and I ate here after we did the Cape shore trail. I had a hamburger and my husband had the cod chowder. Both were very tasty . The service was impeccable .

This was a suggestion from a local and we were staying near here - so we went. I had the hamburger platter and it was a good home cooked meal. There were two patties of meat and two helpings of mashed potaoes, dressing and gravy on the side. It was well worth the $15 because I got to have it... More

We go here a few times a year when we visit family in Bonavista. The service is always friendly and the food filling. They have the best fish and chips in town the batter is light and crispy and a 1 piece is plenty for most adults. They play traditional Newfoundland music while you enjoy the view from the window... ) I really hate to post a bad review of a privately-owned establishment, but this is a greasy spoon of a diner located just down the road from the Bonavista lighthouse where we experienced poor service and poor food. So nothing to recommend here. We were 2 of 8 people who arrived within 5 minutes of each other. The waitress... More

Looking for a light lunch, we had the cod tongues which I'm sure were well made but weren't exactly something we'd like to try again. The chowder was good. We were very thankful to the owner who made the cod tongues as an appetizer as we didn't want a full dinner.

Was a busy place. The food was very good, not great. Service a little slow and they close so early. The whales were out playing and people were stopping by to buy either ice cream or a hot chocolate/coffee and they were closed.
