I have visited this pub many times for a quiet casual dinner. The food is superior to most pubs and there are daily specials plus roast beef specials on weekends. There is outside seating available and there is something special about this rural setting with...More

So we visited this pub three times! Twice for dinner and once for lunch and loved it! Inside looks like a real English pub and out back they have a lovely patio to sit on. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews as we...More

Good food, drink & service. Restaurant can be busy so maybe best to make a reservation. Outside eating area is pleasant and, if necessary, you can eat in the bar area and watch TV.

This was one of the most terrible pub experiences ever. We were a party of 10 last night with a reservation. We waited 1/2 hour for our drinks and then waited another 1 1/4 hours for food that never arrived. We finally left. No other...More

It took a bit to find the place but it was enjoyable once we found it. Situated in an old house(?) in a rural area about 15 minutes outside Parksville, there were nice pastoral views from the antique windows and it felt very much like...More
