Stopped in for some lunch and a leg stretch. Is right on the water. Not much of a view from inside but the decor is nice and clean. Staff was a little lacking but the food made up for it lol. Had the sliders and they were perfect as well as the fries. Would come back again. Side observation: the... More

Had I eaten the raw oysters served to me I would likely not be here writing. I have been eating raw oysters since childhood and have never smelled anything like these. Truly putrid, wafting of unmistakable rot. A light graze of my fork over one left a run of lumpy, gelatinous mess. I cannot believe the kitchen put these on... More

Had a lunch and beer here the other day. Decent beer selection, mostly standard brews without too much in the way of small crafts on tap. I had a pulled pork sandwich, it was pretty tasty and very large and filling. Fries were good too. Interior of the pub is pretty dingy, but I like dive bars so it's fine... More

I have been going to this pub for many years and have seen many owner changes etc. The staff is always friendly and the service fairly good. My friend and I each ordered a Monte Christo sandwich. One with yam fries and the other with onion rings. As the pub was busy, there was quite a wait for our order.... More

Sure, it isn't much from the outside... But once you enter you are greeted warmly, and although the building is chilly on a rainy day, the delicious fanny bay oysters and seafood chowder will warm you up!!

I have eaten seafood chowders all over Canada. Most are terrible. The Maritimes is the one exception where it is harder to find a bad chowder...anywhere. But on Vancouver island, where one would expect to find great seafood chowders, most are vegetable potatoe soups mascerating as chowders. But there are three good locations and the third is the FBI. I... More

Quick service, grub was a mix of burgers and wraps. Had a chicken wrap with fries, sadly the soup had run out. Service was great and food not to bad.

I had the burger and the meat was pink inside. So I ate the burger around in a circle, just the outer edge of the burger. Finally after I pretty well finished, the waitress,(her name on the receipt starts with an E) came and asked me how the food was and I showed her the pink. She blame shifted and... More
