Fried Fanny Bay oysters were awesome with a tasty cocktail sauce. Clam chowder was cold but once heated up it was good - included clams in the shell. Atmosphere is good for a local pub in a small village.

Had lunch with another couple. Was quite busy and noisy at lunch time, but the food was good. Server was very friendly. Interior rather rustic, but clean.
It had been years since stopping at Fanny Bay Inn for a bite to eat What a surprise. Nice and bright in side, clean through out. Service was great and the food was delicious. Will defiantly be going back, soon.
Traveling between Port Hardy and Victoria, unless you're in a bigger town, the places to eat are a bit few and far between. Fanny Bay Inn was a treasure to find. Chowder was excellent as was the Rueben.

I had the oyster burger and my wife had fish and chips. We both found our food rather tasteless and my wife's fish was under cooked. I don't understand how oysters can ever be bland - particularly in place like Fanny Bay which is renowned...More
