We visited this restaurant with a group of friends (+10 people). It is famous in Sunny Beach and Bulgaria, so if you want a table, you definitely need to a reservation. When we went there, the restaurant was full. The hostess welcomed us and there was a server that immediately seated us at our table. They gave us menus and said that they will be back in a few minutes to get the order for the drinks. They recommended us cocktails and good white wine and we were not disappointed. Their fruit mojitos are a must-have. When the drinks came (which was in less than 10 minutes), they took our whole order. The salads began to come after 10 minutes and the appetizers came after 15-20 minutes. Most of the main course came quickly after that. A friend and I had ordered duck and we waited a bit longer, but it was worth it. The meat was good and it was super tasty when combined with the mushrooms and the beets paste on the side. The servers were also very polite and there were always at least 3 servers ready to help. The prices are the same as most other restaurants in this area, but it's worth it! Out whole group recommends this restaurant and we are thinking of going once again tonight. A must-visit when in Sunny Beach!

We visited here last week on a Thursday evening. Arrived around 6.30pm and it was just starting to get busy. Our waiter was called Martin and he was very attentive and had great service. As the evening went on, you could see him getting increasingly busier, but his level of service maintained exceptionally high.
The restaurant itself has a great vibe, with live music being played and beautifully decorated to a high standard.
The food was sublime. I had pastry stuffed with feta cheese for my starter and it was fantastic (I ate every last bit) and my mother had mussels which she thoroughly enjoyed. I then had sea bream for my main which was expertly cooked and seasoned perfectly. (Mum can’t remember what she had for main, but I know she enjoyed it too). For my dessert, I had strawberries and mascarpone, drizzled with chocolate. This was recommended by my waiter and I’m glad I had it. Alongside our meal, we enjoyed various cocktails, which were delicious and just the right amount of alcohol.
It was good to see that the restaurant was fairly busy, especially with the coronavirus restricting travel and tourism.
The highlight is definitely the service. Having been in Bulgaria for a while, I’ve experienced restaurants across the country and some are lacking in this department. So I do want to give special acknowledgement to the restaurant and particularly Martin.

A very nice and clean place.
The food was OK and served very quickly, may be too quickly (no way a seafood paella ready in 10 min).
But, the service could be better. The waiter served us a dish we didn't order, arguing and insisted we did. Finally, hi just placed it on the table and went away.
Prices do not match the value.

We’ve been coming to Djanny’s many times over the years but unfortunately this year it has gone down hill, both with the food and the service.
The menu has been changed and is now limited. Things that used to come with lovely sauces such as meatballs in tomato sauce now just come dry with salad/ chips. When we asked the waitress who’s worked there for years about the sauce she wasn’t even aware that it ever came with a sauce.
We bought an expensive bottle of wine and it was served at room temperature in a bucket of water. We asked the waitress for a glass of ice 3 times and had to ask another in the end before it came.
I think it’s got to the point Djanny’s is just a name that people know (and used to trust for being good) but there’s now others much better!
I only hope they read constructive reviews like this and get things back on track because we used to really like this place!

We have dined regularly here for nearly 15 years and had few complaints. DJanny's was always our go to restaurant in and out of the Summer season.
Since the restaurant revamp however, the portion sizes have been reduced but prices have increased significantly.
The food and service are still good but we will not be returning.
We have belatedly discovered other great places to eat, that offer what DJanny's used to back in the day. I.E. good food and service at reasonable prices.

As soon as we sat my partner nicely asked one of the waiters for the wifi password but he ignored us and walked away. After 5-10 minutes he came across and took our orders. My partner asked something about the food, the waiter answered he’s question in a very rude way. Very unprofessional and rude.
All the waiter/waitresses look like they don’t want to be there.
The food was not very good quality (dishes were cold) which was a shame and was overpriced so disappointed.
The restaurant use to be great but this year it has gone down hill from food to service.
I would not recommend this place.

This restaurant is an absolutely beautiful setting, loads of lighting, music and the atmosphere was lovely.
When we arrived, were told that the only tables they had for small parties were in the ‘indoor smoking room’, which I feared would be extremely smoky and unpleasant. However, once we got in there, it seemed like any other part of the restaurant and didn’t bother us in the slightest. The decor was subtle but effective inside the building.
When reviewing the menu, there was a large variety of food to choose from, including items that we had never even heard of. A large selection of fish, chicken, pork & beef dishes, and even a BBQ section, which we observed to be very well presented and added a unique element to the restaurant.
The food was incredible, however for certain dishes, there was a base price to pay and then an added price on top of that depending on what serving size you got. I have never heard of this, and it didn’t state this anywhere on the menu. Luckily, our waiter pointed this out to us AFTER ordering. When we decided we were not prepared to pay this and requested something else from the menu, the waiter seemed annoyed by this, which I guess is understandable, but is an easy mistake to make due to language barriers and this not being stated pre-order. As well as this, there is not a variety of cocktails, however the cocktails were very good and definitely worth the price.
Overall, we had a lovely experience and would go again with the knowledge we now have.

We have been coming to Djannys for many years now and have thoroughly missed the last few due to not travelling during the pandemic. Finally we have made it back to Bulgaria and this amazing restaurant. The food, service and ambience is faultless. It is really good value, we paid £25 a head between 4 people for 3 starters, 4 mains, 3 sides, a bottle of prosecco and 6 alcoholic drinks. This is incredible and the food is faultless. I only wish we had one of this back home. Keep up the good work Djannys we will be back!

Definitely the best meal we ate in sunny beach/Pomorie
Myself my wife and daughter had an an amazing meal at this restaurant…. From the atmosphere to the staff and finally the food we could not fault it ! The salads was so fresh and tasty, the new York strip line steak was cooked perfectly and HUGE 😁 desert was to die for and so reasonably priced . The waitress could not have been anymore helpful and polite . As we will be regular visitors to the area I can see this restaurant beating our place to go for a guaranteed tasty meal . 👍🏼

My partner took me here for my birthday and I have to say 11/10 our waiter was lovely food was unreal. So we decided to go again!
Drinks were lovely our waiter I’m guessing was new he was slow and told us to wait before we said the next thing on our order which is fine! Everyone starts somewhere.
We then ordered our food, I had mussels my partner had the chicken breast skewer and my friend had pork.
Nothing was said about anything just okay thank you.
Mine came out quickly and my friends next, we didn’t start as we were waiting for my partners. After a few minutes we asked about the meal missing, he said 5 minutes.
Okay fine, we started eating he bought out her fries which were cold and didn’t come out with anything else. I sent them back I said there cold anyway but can we have them when her skewer comes out.
About 15 minutes later I’m almost done with my meal I ask again how much longer? You said 5 minutes it’s been 15.
He argued with me, it hasn’t been 15 minutes.
Bare in mind me and my friend were almost finished.
It comes out 20 minutes after we were given ours which I wasn’t happy about at all, we’ve come for a meal together.
If he had said it’s going to take that long I would’ve said that fine we have time to wait for all the meals to come out together or my partner would’ve chosen something else. Also it wasn’t chicken breast it was chicken on the bone! Very dry and unfortunately an absolute waste of money.
At the end I complained it was a £90 bill and it wasn’t even about the money it’s the fact there was no apology they kept walking past not letting us know anything. Asked to speak to the manager and no manager came.
Absolute let down considering how much you pay and how fancy looking it is.

Went there after reading reviews and for a nice meal. Seated outside away from smokers ( sorry smokers) waiter was polite ,attentive and helpful, service excellent , husband had 3 courses carrot cake was delicious as was whole meal . Certainly not cheapest but worth the money and lovely decor also call me old fashion but nice to see staff dressed nice instead off a hoodie and a puffa jacket , but if food good etc etc , .IF we ever go back I will certainly be going for another meal here and have already recommended it to friends who are going next month

Me and my wife came to this restaurant for lunch. Menu is extensive but in comparison with other local restaurants it is expensive and in my opinion overpriced for what it is. Mussel portions are nowhere near stated 1000g size and more like 300g. Oysters are fresh but bizarrely served with lime and tobasco sauce bottle seems to have been there since last decade. When asked the waitress were are the oysters from she had nothing to answer and just shredded her shoulders and walked away. My wife ordered a non alcoholic mango cocktail suggested by our server, cocktail was very sweet and my wife didn’t drink it. Server never checked for reasons the drink was left sitting full. My Aperol spritz was served with flat Prosecco and soda and no garnish in a small wine glass, not worth the 8€ price tag at all. Water we ordered was never poured in our glasses.
To sum up, our lunch of 2 oysters and portion of mussels with 2 drinks came to 75Lev (40€), considering the knowledge and attitude of serving staff, dirty table cloth, below mediocre drinks & fake flowers in restaurant that promotes itself as a classy establishment is simply not worth the visit as there are by far more superior and better value for money places in the area.

We are really sorry that you felt that way in our establishment. We are keen to improve every day and we take every feedback seriously, but there are some points in yours, that are not quite as you said it. The first one is about the mussels - which are 600gr by the menu, and we measure them every time, so you got the right amount. The second one is about the aperol spritz that you had. We are using soda machine so in that way we always use a fresh sparkling water for our cocktails. Also we run thru dozens of bottles of Prosecco every day. We also use the original Apperol glasses and the classic recipe for Aperol spritz. I’m really sorry that your wife didn’t liked our lemonade, we are always responsive and we could’ve made a new one if we knew the reason why while you were in our restaurant. The oysters that you had are French - La Pousse en Claire N2.
We are all human beings and as so, we make mistakes, so if we did i apologize for that on behalf of our team.

We was 5 familiys how eat togedder:( they spiced 4 invoices whit things we did not order. When we complaned we was met of brutal treatment just pay or I myself must pay for 2 extrabeers and s bottle of wine. Big warning for this unserios place

While our stay in Sunny Beach was a failure, this place was one bright spot. Really good food, with quite a choice of vegetarian options for myself.
The staff is SUPER nice, very friendly and helpful, able to customize our dishes to our needs with no issues. Really friendly and pro, we were coming back every day for 4 days (well, most other places were closed, but still!).
