One can leave very full after barely paying $10. Friendly staff and is just a 5 minute walk away from campus, perfect for a quick lunch break in between classes. Love the tostadas!

Have been eating at the Red Pepper since the 1970s. Have NEVER been disappointed with the food or had a bad meal. Whenever we have a craving - we get it delivered!

This place has been around a long time! I can’t come to Grand Forks without stopping for a cheese 🧀 tostadas! Best of any I have ever had! I have tried to make these at home, however, never as good as the original Red Pepper!...More

I went here when I first moved to this area because everyone told me their tacos were the best. The restaurant itself is a shack. It looked dark, worn and dirty. Their tacos don't taste like anything except the mountain of mild cheddar cheese they...More

Thank you for your thoughtful review. I’m sorry to hear we weren’t your cup of tea. If you’re looking for authentic “Tex Mex” right here in ND, we’re not going to be the place for you. However, if your looking for a locally owned from...More

I am absolutely obsessed with the grinders and the chip sauce at this place! Every time I come through town after graduating UND I always make an effort to stop and grab something to eat. This place never disappoints!!!

Great Grinders - there are a wide range of diners - mostly the college and highschool. It is a go to spot for a great sub - it is a unique setting. This is not a chain. Local owned

We go to the Red Pepper for their awesome Grinder Sandwiches. We order the full size and then take half home. We love how you can easily custom make your sandwich to your own specs. They are so tasty with the taco meat and white...More

Hmmm... As with every other restaurant in the world, our groceries are delivered to us in boxes (& not frozen), but after that everything we serve is from scratch and made-to-order. Sorry to hear we weren’t your style, but thanks for giving us a try!

Usually when i visit Grand Forks I eat at the Red Pepper at least twice and love it-previous reviews i have given very high ratings. They missed the mark this time. I ordered a cheese tostada-$1.69. Quite pricey for a tostada shell with a little...More

Thanks for the review! While we don’t think you have to be drunk to enjoy Red Pepper, you’re right, it does get a whole lot better after you’ve had a few! Maybe that’s why Esquire named us “The Best Late-Night Joint in the USA”!
