Very quick replying to my email. Friendly reception. Nice table in a covered area...with heaters.
Great drinks selection....Good food...friendly service.
Could do with a better quality tomato sauce....apart from that spot on!
We recently stayed in the lovely Garden Rooms next to the Fox Inn. The pub itself has a really good set up with all the measurements in place. There are outside seating and also a marquee with heating. The staff are really friendly and professional...and make you feel so welcome. The food is excellent and we would highly recommend either staying at the Garden Rooms or just visiting the pub for food and drinks. Can't wait to go back.More
We collected 4 amazing Mothers Day roasts from here yesterday. It was so nice for a local pub to be offering a set menu for mothers day.
We all had roast beef and it was cooked lovely. The honeycomb cheesecake was mouth watering!!
Having a...meal from a local pub made Mothers Day feel special, which could of been hard to achieve when in a lockdown.
We will be returning as we have been recommended to try their burgers. They certainly look good!
Thank you for offering a food service whilst in a lockdown, we all definitely appreciated it :)More
Just had our first takeaway from The Fox as we fancied trying something different from our normal options. When placing the order the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The drive thru collection with timed slots works really well and the food was fabulous.
Fox Inn has become our go to takeaway in the area. What a lockdown treat. We’ve had a few delicious meals from them but we particularly love their Sunday lunch takeaway. The beef is always divine, served by very friendly staff in a safe manner....Definitely the best takeaway/delivery in the area. Keep up the good work Fox Inn.More
Had a take away from the Fox this evening, it was amazing. Great restrictions in place, friendly staff, and the burger was the best I’d ever had. My partner had the fish and chips and said they were delicious. We will be ordering...again, and we can’t wait for you to open up again so we can come in for Sunday lunch!More
We booked for a family of 4 in half term.
We turned up an hour early (on the off-chance) as it was on our way back - whilst our table wasn't ready, the staff found somewhere for us to grab a drink, and managed to...get us seated early.
The food was decent - couple of blemishes - mash not great, and burger buns burnt, but the leek and potato soup was excellent, as was the fish and chips - overall the food was decent quality and good value, and the service was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely visit again.More
Supporting out local pub and decided to order a meal through the second lockdown as they have a great drive through/pick up service available at the moment.
Best burgers ever!!:) all freshly made and great quality. Keep up the great work x
Lovley place and food really good staff and owners very welcomeing although Manager can be a little cold at times.
This place has become very popular due to its food and warm welcome, well from most anyway.
Obviously Pubs these Days as we all could...never survive these Days on Wet Sales and this must be appreciated.
However when you go in to a pub especially early doors and enjoying a very well kept point and have to move two or three times to accommodate dinners, you do feel uncomfortable and that perhaps you should not be there. Unfortunately with the winter being here you don't have the option to sit outside and with the limited space inside this establishment and the well deserved reputation for thier food, things can only get worse for the customer that just wants a quite beer without being moved from table to table evey few minuets, worth a visit for the odd beer, but be warned!!More

I haven't seen any images of the menu.
It is plainly displayed on the wall, well before you get to the bar, so there is no problem at all in taking your time to read it, and leave without any embarrassment if you don't like it. I would bet you'd be able to find something you'd like, it is well balanced.
There may be a paper menu as well, we didn't need to use one.
Good idea to ring ahead and book a table, which takes out some anxiety- you could still leave if you wanted without identifying yourself to the bar, just a thought, I's rather you didn't!
To conclude - go for it!
Hope you enjoy your visit as ,uch as we did.
