We found a jewel in this quaint “off the beaten path“ dining experience! The pics on Yelp helped in making this choice. The owner, Rick, even came out to help make the wine choice. The food was delicious and the staff dressed in colonial attire....More

The gingerbread with lemon ice cream is fantastic. However, hitching a ride in the dumbwaiter is frowned upon. So if your thinking about reinacting a scene from “Home Alone” or “Harriet the Spy” it won’t happen. Reservations are strongly recommended.

An unpretentious colonial era tavern serving American fare in a preserved rustic setting. Multiple tavern rooms serve as separate dining rooms. Nice classic food choices and a great place to escape from the summer heat.
