The food here is decent and reasonably priced, IF, I REPEAT IF, you double check your bill when paying. The server gives you a check with no prices which you then bring to the elderly (I think she's the owner's mother) lady who rings you up. However, if you don't watch her like a hawk, she will overcharge you. This... More

Señor Bravo's is a great Mexican bar and grill in downtown Winston-Salem. It's in walking distance of Old Salem, the Brownstone Inn and the Hawthorne Inn. The food was delicious and was served fast! It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that's great for conversation while eating.

This is the best Mexican food we have found in a restaurant. Margaritas, appetizers and entree are all delish. We make a point to come here when we stay at The Historic Brookstown Inn.

We had business downtown and wanted Mexican food. A google search showed Senor Bravo's and boy am I glad it did! Food is excellent. The waitress was right on time. We'll be back. I've probably told a dozen people about it since Monday!

My son and I were visiting Winston-Salem and staying at the Brookstown Inn, which is in walking distance from Senor Bravo's. We enjoyed our meal here due to the delicious authentic food, great atmosphere, and nice staff.. We both got tamales (cooked in the husk), I had the fish tacos and my son had a tostado and burrito. We both... More

This is not your typical Mexican food! Every dish has a distinctly authentic feel! Great margaritas and mixed drinks here as well!

Great place. If Chava has made his special salsa that day you must try it. Really good carnitas here.

The salsa is really good but the chips? No bueno. They were burned, greasy, clumped together and not cut all the way through. However, the rest of the food was really good and our server was very quick. I have a food allergy and she was very attentive towards it.

Arrived for lunch and even though they had a full house I was greeted and seated promptly. Although there were many items on the menu I requested a special order and they were accommodating. The meal was served hot and in a timely manner; It tasted great and the portions were large.
