My waitress from the Olive Garden, Meaghan; recommended this place. She said her cousin, or some relative; is manager. My cousin and her husband met me...and my pet rabbit....in Wilmington, so we ate here after visiting the USS NORTH CAROLINA (BB55). It's very cozy and rustic. As it was Halloween weekend, many people in the crowded bar, were dressed in... More

We wanted seafood fresh, the carriage ride was entertaining and reasonable,so we acted him. He recommended up the street to the "Shuckin'" . It is a bar that may have other seating as the capacity sign was large. We were the only customers so we had a friendly visit with the bartender. One of us had the crab sliders and... More

Went there with a group of 7 people, very difficult to squeeze us in due to the small size of this crazy good bar restaurant. Shrimp, oysters, crab legs and lots of ice cold beer choices make this place a mandatory stop!

Our first night in town we checked out Shuckin' Shack because it was across the street from our apartment. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere, good seafood, cold beer and friendly staff. We returned two times during our visit and will certainly be back on the next trip.

I'm from West Virginia and I like seafood. Needless to say, I don't get the best seafood at home. Only Captain Ds and Long John Silvers. No offense to the good Captain or Mr. Silver. The Shuckin Shack was laid back, sports on the TV, have a drink, and eat crab legs kind of place. I personally ordered oysters and... More

I love Shuckin Shack, and make sure to go whenever I'm in town. All their seafood is very fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. Wednesday night is my favorite with $.45 clams. Their buffalo wings are also the best I've ever had.

Friendly counter staff, very fresh seafood and lots of beer choices. Customers are very friendly, this is a down home kind of restaurant. Lots of fun to eat here.

The food is great. The service is outstanding. The bartenders are the best in the business. They make you feel welcome and ensure you stay hydrated. CiCi and Ronnie are awesome. Thank you.

Like the Shack in Carolina Beach, this place is small, but does seafood right! Service was great and seafood was fresh.

Came here with family. Small spot not very kid friendly so keep that in mind. Food was average. Beer was very cold and good variety!
