Wonderful location to grab food while exploring the city. The dishes were delicious amd absolutely filling! The Turkish coffee was addictive. And the house salad is a must have. I'll absolutely have to go back again and again to try all the dishes!

Some of the best Falafel I’ve ever eaten. Comfortable dining area, good service, nice wines, great food. Would definitely return next time we visit Wilmington.

As long time Wilmington residences, we have recently relocated near the downtown Wilmington river front. We were very pleased to experience the Grill with friends. Food great attention to detail excellent and very personable service. Thanks for a delightful evening meal.

Loved our meal last night! Husband and wife team...she cooks, he serves...what could be better! Reminds me of small, family run restaurants in UK and Europe. Appetizer sampler keeps you from having to make a choice and we added a plate of anchovies which, for the anchovy fans in the group, was a big hit. The lamb was perfectly cooked... More

Nice atmosphere in a smaller, but cozy setting. Friendly and professional service. My husband and I split the appetizer sampler, Black Sea combination, and baklava. Everything was delicious! Tender and flavorful meat, perfectly prepared steamed vegetables, fresh dips, and flaky baklava made for an excellent night out. The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five is because... Met family for dinner last night, and introduced them to Turkish/Mediterranean dishes. Good selection of Kebabs, Seafood, Vegetarian dishes and unique items. Haven't been back in a while, but will always be on our list. Had the Black Sea Combo which consists of chicken/beef/lamb/Turkish patty kebabs and wife had her fave...Eggplant Delight. Wine selections great and Turkish coffee similar to... More

Entering this restaurant on a Wed night, there was only other party in the place, which made me wonder about our selection. However, after finishing our meal, I couldn't understand why it wasn't busier. The food was very good and the service was very attentive. I'll be sure to visit again.

Went for first time with some friends who had recommended it. Glad they did because it was a really nice experience. Service was very informal, but efficient and helpful. Menu is somewhat limited, but what they offer is prepared very well. I had the chicken kabob which was moist and very tasty, while my wife had shrimp kabob and it... More

The Black Sea Grill has been one of my favorite destinations in Wilmington for 7 years. This is a Mom & Pop shop that does only a few things, but does them extremely well. I always have the kefta balls, and my wife always orders the beef kebobs. They're both so delicious we usually end up sharing, We keep coming... More

A quaint mediterranean restaurant offering a combination of entrees. We started with their hummus, which was some of the best we have ever tasted. I had the beef and chicken kabobs. They were superb, the beef was tender and marinated perfectly, the beef was the envy of the table. The chicken dipped in the yogurt, dill sauce was wonderful. The... More
