Weaverville is lucky to have a fine dining place like this. The owner/chefs take their food seriously. They source locally when possible, have a full bar and recently upgraded the wine list. Desserts are made in house. The coconut cake is delicious. The salads and soups are creative and fresh and the side veggies are top notch. For entrees, seafood... More

I love Glass Onion and have eaten here many times. The service is excellent and always very attentive. You can tell that the owners take customer service seriously and train the wait staff well. One of the owners, Natalie (her husband is the chef) is always out on the floor, seating people, running food and making sure customers are happy... More

On Wednesdays they go all out with a lot of pasta choices all priced at $15. It was great being able to ask a friend to join me for dinner and mentioning it was pasta night so that she knew in advance the price point for supper. We shared a sale which they graciously split in the kitchen. Excellent food... More

It was cool to people watch as we ate Nice beer and mixer menu..the beers were cold and fresh...the blood orange margaritas were awesome...plenty strong. We shared the Truffle and Parmesan... More

Had an excellent lunch. Waiter ran through the lunch specials and mentioned they make their own home made sausage. Owners/chiefs are from I believe NY area. I had an excellent home made beef ravioli and asked if I could also have a taste of their home made sausage. Talk about good! Next time I visit sausage will be the meal.... More

So many gluten free GOOD choices. Grands loved it. Just don't tell them the meat sause on their pasta is made with wild boar. As far as they are concerned, it's just meatsauce.

The food is excellent here. The service from the waiter is appropriate. (They don't interrupt you three times to ask how the food is, but they are there when you need them.) We have been here several times over the years, and it is always consistently good.

My wife and I were visiting in Weaverville, and decided to take a pause for some lunch. The Glass Onion menu looked good, so we went in. The menu was varied and everything sounded good. I was impressed with the variety, from burgers, to salads, to pasta. One of the specials of the day was Eggplant Parmesan, which I love.... More

Their food is great. We had truffle fries as an app...yum. I ordered the trout, and my husband the pork. We were definitely impressed with the food. Okay, drinks. Not sure why there wasn't an actual bartender or mixologist, but our waitress made my drinks. I love a good Tom Collins. It's my go-to. Unfortunately, mine was made the shortcut... More
