Excellent service, excellent wines by the glass (also bottles, wide beer selection, and full bar), and excellent food. There is a wide selection of small plates or appetizers, several soups, and salads. Entrees include several steaks, pork chop, trout, chicken, pasta, and meat loaf. I had the spicy shrimp and fried green tomatoes app and a house salad as my... More

Really enjoyed the choices of local brews. My husband likes hoppy, I like non hoppy, found great beers that suited us both. Food was good and service was great. Will go again.

We arrived in town, fresh off of a 2 day road trip and were starving. When we found this little place. The staff was friendly. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Extra points for atmosphere.

My hubby and I had lunch at this small, quaint restaurant nestled on a side street in Waynesville. The atmosphere is cozy seeing the lighting is dim. Server was really friendly and professional, menu was diverse and food was excellent! I ordered their Pinto Bean Burger to try something different and man was it good! I am not a vegan... More

went there expecting to have red meat but were offered two separate duck dishes at moderate prices. Both were delicious. Restaurant kinda cozy, loud woman nearby, but she shushed after a while. High recommendation. break pudding a little dry.

Atmosphere and server were wonderful. We had special requests that were instantly granted. The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the Finnish bread appetizer and the beef medallions dinner. The server was very knowledgeable about the beer selection. Another place we have put at the top of our list.

We had reservations on a Saturday night. Was greeted immediately and seated. Server was there quickly and took drink order and knew the menu and drinks very well. Personable and likable. We got the friend Brussels as an appetizer and they were amazing. The bourbon options were fantastic as well. Cocktails limited. The server took our order and my wife... More

A bit off the beaten path the Bourbon Barrel is a great find. The food is flavorful, the service prompt and the selection intriguing. Plenty of parking across the street is a big plus for Waynesville, Nice selection of whiskies are offered.

Small intimate restaurant. Large variety of choices on the menu. I had the heart of rib eye with bourbon glaze. It was excellent (and that from a Wyoming person with high beef standards). The meat was prepared perfectly and the glaze was a wonderful addition. My Dad had the crab cakes and loved them. They were very meaty. My husband... More
