Excellent location in downtown Waynesville, NC. Wait staff friendly, food is good. Nice place to just hang with friends and visit.

You are best to order the local ale. The food is okay, but their brew makes up for anything lacking! A great place for a toast with friends.

I had steak and cheese, companions had turkey Chipotle wraps. Tots and brussel sprouts were delicious as sides! Beer also delish. Don't miss this one!

We stopped in to watch a game & have a few beers before our reservation at a nearby restaurant. The atmosphere & service were excellent. The punch in the face IPA was very good. The tavern also has a nice selection of regular beers if you're not into Craft brews / IPAs. Plenty of TVs and the food looked good,... More

It was the best of meals. It was the worst of meals. All wrapped up in one. My wife got the special which was outstanding as the potato soup and grilled cheese on sourdough was nothing short of excellent (and that is rare for me to say that). My burger, however, was really disappointing because the burger was well done... More

Nachos are the best I've ever had. Fish & chips are great. Never had a bad meal. Large variety of beer. You can get beer canned to go so you don't have to buy a big growler.

The beer selection was very good, as was the atmosphere and service. The food was not very good. The chili was bland, the Ceasar salad had a little too much mustard-spiced dressing on it, and the salsa tasted more like spaghetti sauce than salsa.

My wife and I had a great time exploring downtown Waynesville and we decided on having dinner at the Tipping Point Tavern. It was an excellent choice! Their menu offered many delicious choices at reasonable prices. They are also a micro-brewery so we ordered a flight of their brews. They were all excellent! My wife ordered the veggie quesadilla made... More

We've been to the Tipping Point on a few occasions & have been pleased. This time was an ok visit. It seems that their menu has changed along with ownership. The Rueben sandwich was ok, a little salty for our taste, & chicken enchiladas were non eventful. The craft brew was acceptable but nothing spectacular. Not sure if we will... More

This place has a wonderful atmosphere and great craft beer. It is definitely a popular place in Waynesville so a wait may happen, but completely worth it.
