I rarely if ever give 5 star reviews. However when my wife and I visited FLPH we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. We had reservations and arrived early so our table wasn't ready so we headed to the bar. My wife tried the winter sangria it was so good I myself had to order me one.... More

My husband and I have eaten here on several occasions--holidays with friends, celebrations--we have never had a bad meal or poor service. The food is excellent and the service is perfect. We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary last night and, again, no complaints. We highly recommend Frogs Leap to our customers and friends. Thank you, Frogs Leap, for another wonderful... More

Tonight, we had dinner with friends. It was a last-minute thing, and we chose Frogs Leap Public House for a new experience. What a fantastic meal. For openers, three of us had salads that were collectively described as 'the best salad ever', and the 'everything gumbo', which was enough on its own to warrant our return. Dinner saw the monkfish... More

I'm sure this place fits the bill for many people and the atmosphere is quite nice, but most everyone in our group had somewhat tasteless food served slightly warm. Restaurants was only half full so don't understand why. We don't plan on returning, there are too many less expensive places that serve flavorful food near by.

We are well heeled and know great food. We have eaten at 4&5 star restaurants all over the South. The atmosphere is excellent, Southern style with an elegant twist, many unique dishes. Loved it so much we returned for lunch the next day. You won't be disappointed.

The place was crazy busy the night we were there, and we had not made a reservation. We got window seats in the bar but still got service and phenomenally good food. I had a Caesar salad which was the best I have ever had (and I have eaten many Caesar salads).

We went to FLPH twice while on vacation in Waynesville. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were excellent. Service was good and the restaurant is warm and inviting. We would highly recommend FLPH.

Great vibe, lovely surrounding, friendly wait staff and absolutely delicious meal with large portions. We tried the fried pickles, flatbread, gruyere mac/cheese, turkey/dressing/greens, pea salad, truffle/parm fries and every item was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Nice, reasonably priced wine selection by the glass. Cannot say enough about our meal; best meal between Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Ashville. Really pretty inside... More

We had a fantastic meal at FLPH. We are here with family in Waynesville- for the holiday. We are from Charleston where we have lots of amazing restaurants. FLPH exceeded our expectations. The Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts are not to be missed. This is a great local restaurant with fresh food and friendly service.

Thank Jennifer R

A Unique Farm to Fork Experience: Innovative Southern Food with a Local Backbone & Home Grown Libations

Frogs Leap Public House is a farm to table country pub at the corner of Church and Montgomery Streets, built in 1918 as the southeast's first Buick dealer just one block south of Main in the heart of historic downtown Waynesville. FLPH is focused on the culture, art, music, wine, beer and especially the food of Western North Carolina.

Like the City of Waynesville itself, FLPH is Southern down to its roots, but draws influences from around the world. The food is fresh and local, the libations are home grown, the music is American and has a beat. FLPH is home to a family with a passion for serving world class food, wine, and spirits in a soulful, comforting atmosphere.
