The place was crazy busy the night we were there, and we had not made a reservation. We got window seats in the bar but still got service and phenomenally good food. I had a Caesar salad which was the best I have ever had (and I have eaten many Caesar salads).

We went to FLPH twice while on vacation in Waynesville. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were excellent. Service was good and the restaurant is warm and inviting. We would highly recommend FLPH.

Great vibe, lovely surrounding, friendly wait staff and absolutely delicious meal with large portions. We tried the fried pickles, flatbread, gruyere mac/cheese, turkey/dressing/greens, pea salad, truffle/parm fries and every item was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Nice, reasonably priced wine selection by the glass. Cannot say enough about our meal; best meal between Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Ashville. Really pretty inside... More

We had a fantastic meal at FLPH. We are here with family in Waynesville- for the holiday. We are from Charleston where we have lots of amazing restaurants. FLPH exceeded our expectations. The Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts are not to be missed. This is a great local restaurant with fresh food and friendly service.

Highly recommended by the locals. My experience proved them right on target. Food quality and presentation everything one would expect with fine dining. Atmosphere casual but still intimate. Would definitely return.

Was not the quality I was expecting. Waitress Mary kay was nice. But the food I received was horrible. Food was severely bland. I won't come here or recommend it to anyone

We are sorry not only to see this review but to know that you were dissatisfied with your visit. The situation did come to our attention, and I do feel we made every effort to either re-make your ordered entrees or provide you with an entirely different option. It is our understanding you declined on both. The entrees you chose... More

Our first time with the recommendation of my sister-in-law and husband. Decor is very nice, didn't do the bar but it looked great and well-stocked. Had the chicken tenders with mac&cheese, collards...very good. Others ordered the meatloaf and soup and sandwich. All got raves. A little pricey for a lunch but service was great and would highly recommend. Also recommend... More

We had reservations through Open Tables, and were seated promptly.Service was friendly and efficient. The house was full. As a farm to table establishment, there were some interesting menu choices. The seared scallops shutterbug and cauliflower was delicious y s. My wife's pumpkin ravioli was a hit. Both of the soups were wonderful Highly recommended! A little pricy.

A Unique Farm to Fork Experience: Innovative Southern Food with a Local Backbone & Home Grown Libations

Frogs Leap Public House is a farm to table country pub at the corner of Church and Montgomery Streets, built in 1918 as the southeast's first Buick dealer just one block south of Main in the heart of historic downtown Waynesville. FLPH is focused on the culture, art, music, wine, beer and especially the food of Western North Carolina.

Like the City of Waynesville itself, FLPH is Southern down to its roots, but draws influences from around the world. The food is fresh and local, the libations are home grown, the music is American and has a beat. FLPH is home to a family with a passion for serving world class food, wine, and spirits in a soulful, comforting atmosphere.
