Unfortunately, my wife and I had a terrible experience at Trailhead Cafe today--the Sunday following Thanksgiving. As a native of Waynesville, and a property owner in Haywood Co., I was dismayed to be treated so disrespectfully. We noticed immediately when we arrived that something had...More

Soup and sandwich...just right on a cool fall day. We had grilled cheese sandwiches, which were very large and really, really good...paired with cup of tomato basil soup and cup of black bean chipotle soup. The tomato basil was excellent, thick and creamy and very...More

Looking for GF alternatives and a late breakfast. Found both. Counter service. Helpful and kind person behind the counter. Good food. Rustic building. Coffee in carafes not very strong. Had bacob, brie on sourdough. Espresso available. Husband had the Backpacker. Good too.

Decided to stop in here and have lunch. It was very good, I had the Reuben and my girlfriend had the Cuban and we were both very pleased. Also you must try the tomato soup.

There were four in our party, each person selecting a different item from the menu. All of the dishes were delicious and fresh. The seating on the patio was very nice. There was also a private room which I assume is available for meetings.

The quiche is amazing but prepare for a wait if they’re busy. The pastry offerings are yummy but they don’t make croissants every day. The coffee is worth the trip!

We found this place two years ago just by chance. The food was incredible! We just went back to Maggie Valley with our motorcycle club and took some members with us for breakfast. There were seven of us and we all shared a cinnamon roll!...More
