Always delicious food and the service is always great. The chicken is the best in the state, it has flavor all the way through and not just the crust.

I go out of my way while traveling to stop here. The fried chicken is the best I've had in NC and it has an awesome family atmosphere. Great people and service as well

Not pleased with the options or quality of the food. My meatloaf had a good flavor, but very greasy. The green beans tasted like they were directly out of a can with little or no seasoning. The mac and cheese was very bland. I had wanted mashed potatoes and asked if they were homemade or instant. Instant.

Today(2-27-17) ,my wife and I drove over 2 hours to eat here. The biscuits were fabulous, fried chicken was outstanding , but that was it -vegetables were cold and had no taste; peach cobbler was disgusting;i should have known it was a bad day when I asked for vinegar and I was brought white distilled vinegar(only good thing for white... Went with the family style instead of buffet. Wrong decision. I'm stuffed 🤗 As always the food is GREAT here. I always recommend this place if your passing through.

Always good food and the best fried chicken. Normally you come here just for the chicken. Been coming here for years

A house like setting with cafeteria-style dinner. The chicken was excellent, however potatoes were instant (I asked) so I did not take those. Vegetables were ordinary. You paid for only what you took which was an unusual thing but worked well. Would I go back? Maybe not, however the chicken was really good. One thing... After I got my tray... More

We selected Julia's House to provide the main course for a special birthday party. We had invited a number of locals as well as several folks from out of state to our birthday party. There was never a question on what we wanted served for lunch....Talley House chicken! Talley House has a special place in my heart and always will... More

Wonderful. We have been talking about stopping by for a few months and Friday (25 at 600pm) we did. What have I been missing. We walked in a side door. tables and chairs in rooms everywhere. We asked a staff and she very helpful and polite explained how the cafeteria line and the family style worked. We tried the cafeteria... More
