We called for a last minute reservation...they accommodated us soon after we arrived. We ordered a bottle of Cab the server recommended...reasonably priced and good. We each ordered the 1/2 house salad...perfect portion size. My wife had the filet..cooked to a perfect med rare w/ garlic mashed and asparagus. I had the ahi tuna...rare...with a wilted greens and rice....cooked perfect!... More

Food was horrible. The short ribs on sandwich was dry. The chicken on my sandwich was full of fat. There was a bug traps under the tables. My tea wasn't fresh and the restaurant just open. Stay far away.

I am so sorry that you were not pleased with the dishes you ordered during your visit. Did you tell your server about the problems with the meals? Our policy is to replace the dish if is not to your liking. As for the tea not being fresh, I make it myself every morning when I arrive for work. As... More

On a recent outing to Southport when my husband and I were looking for a place to have a late lunch and a cocktail, we happened onto the Ports of Call Bistro. What good fortune! We ordered the crab cake sandwich -- excellent crab cakes, mostly crab and very lightly panko-breaded -- and served with piping hot skinny french fries... More

The Oysters Rockefeller was an outstanding appetizer. I had the rack of lamb, which was prepared medium rare and the garlic and other spices were the perfect compliment to the dish. My husband had short ribs and they were fantastic. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were great compliments. And the Hunky Dory sauvignon blanc was a wonderful compliment to our... More

We've been here on three occasions and each time it was great. The food is only surpassed by the friendly wait staff. Definitely recommend.

I apologize if your server was not doing her job properly. What she should have done is offer to replace your entree with a new one. More

We've been to this restaurant 3 times since they opened - once for lunch and twice for dinner. All three visits were "Good" or better but this last visit was particularly good; great really. The service was outstanding without being intrusive. The server, the bar tender and the hostess were equally attentive and professional. We were greeted almost immediately upon... More

Went in for drinks and a light dinner. Pleasantly surprised with the friendly service and choice of gf tapas plates. Generous portions. The oysters Rockefeller was superb.
