The food, ambiance, service and menu are simply fantastic. Enough range of food options to please everyone, generous portions and the menu is anything but ordinary. Be prepared for a pleasant dining experience with excellent and unobtrusive service. Value for the dinner you receive is...excellent. The fish is exquisite. Our new favorite!!More

Four of us ate here for dinner. The food was top notch and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Ravioli special was amazing, as was the shrimp diavalo, chicken parmigiana and spaghetti bolognese.

We'd been eager to try this place for a while, and finally made a reservation. Despite that, we were told it'd be at least 30 mins wait (other customers waiting seemed to have the same problem), so we left and came back another night. Unfortunately,...this was a huge disappointment. The food was ok but very overpriced. Server was nice, but the manager/owner was shockingly rude and seemed just horribly unhappy to be there. After driving 45 minutes twice to get here, we were sorry we did. There are plenty of closer restaurants in Cashiers / Sapphire that were much, much better. It was definitely not worth the drive.More

Osteria’s is definitely the place to go if you love Italian food. It is a unique restaurant with a very friendly staff. We both had veal dishes. It was the best veal I have had. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. We will...definitely go back on our next trip.More

Server was quite knowledgeable about their gluten-free offerings, and the chef did a great job on the gluten-free pasta - not an easy thing to get right. It was a very busy night but drinks, salads and entrees were served in a timely - but...unrushed - fashion.More

We love this place. Hubbie loved the smoked salmon and I enjoyed the special red pepper salad. The entrees were outstanding. I had the perfect chicken and sausage canneloni. Hubbie was delighted with the veal scalloped carsitini. I may have messed up the Italian here....For dessert we had the best key line pie and flan.More

We have been looking forward to trying Osteria Del Monte for some time and were able to satisfy our curiosity recently. We were pleasantly greeted and seated in the very woodsy dining room with high cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace. Immediately, our waiter brought iced...water to our table and greeted us with the wine list. The restaurant was nearly full and we were surprised at the number of staff serving their clients. They had one waitress that was only refilling customers water! The waiter returned to the table with our wine choices and provided us a description of several of the evenings specials, not notated on the menu. We ordered one menu option and one special and both were presented promptly and were delicious. The service was timely and not pushy and it was a very enjoyable experience that we look forward to repeating in the near future, prior to them closing for the season. It was a great dining experience on a warm and welcoming environment and we would recommend it.More

We did not supply our own wine and chose from the menu, either bottle or glasses. I am not sure if the restaurant allows customers to supply their own wine with a fee.
