What a gem, by far one of the best places for a beer and some fish and chips along the coast. Lovely building with historic value, superb location, very special. Charming accomodation and menu available. Highly recommended.

Lovely historic building, practically right on the beach. Stayed at nearby caravan park and lovely to stroll along the beach on an evening to have a wee beverage while the sun set. Food at the restaurant not too bad. We were all fairly happy. Fish n chips, fresh. Salads, fresh but maybe a tad heavy on the dressing. Couldnt complain... More

The views and building - beautiful The food and service at Bettena's restaurant - just ok. We had the calamari, rib eye and lamb. The meats were cooked ok, but only just. Maybe we are spoilt (we are from melbourne) but when you are paying top dollar - call me crazy - but expect a bit of effort. The veg... More

This is a beautiful building on lovely grounds with nice food "WHEN AVAILABLE". We had Devonshire tea 3 days ago but friends that came with our family were told by staff this option NOT AVAILABLE today. We ended up sharing ours with them! Some of our crew went back this afternoon for coffee's and told NO STAFF AVAILABLE to make... More

On a whim on Christmas Eve we decided to drink and dine at the Seahorse Inn. Absolutely delightful! Excellent staff (Felicia was a standout) a great menu (make sure you check out the Specials board), fabulous location and classy atmosphere made for a memorable meal. Dining out on the lawn with a steady hum of surf on a balmy evening... More

Even though one room was being painted and there was only one wait staff our party of 10 were served good meals. A bonus is the Inn itself with a great history and a water view

This restaurant is situated in heavenly surroundings. I made the required reservation but was the only person in the restaurant. I waited and waited after deciding what to order but the waitress although facing in my direction was involved in a lengthy conversation with the chef. I finally left thinking this was a sign of worse to come.

Visited The Seahorse Inn at Eden today for lunch with 5 other people and we had the best lunch. I had pork and prawn salad. I have to say it was one of the best feeds I have ever had. The staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. I highly recommend if in the area it has to be on your... More

We ate dinner in the brasserie. Food was OK, waitress was very pleasant, kitchen was appallingly slow. We had quite a simple but pleasant buffet breakfast in the restaurant, service was good.

Thank Peter H
