The food is really outstanding. Top notch every time we've been there. Staff is efficient and friendly. Drinks are great. What's not to love?

The food is excellent and while I don't get the chance to visit now that we have two little ones running around, it is a great date or business dinner spot. Service and food is excellent.

We hadn't been to 18 Seaboard in a while. It is still as good as it gets. The fried oysters appetizer was exceptional. The pork shank and the shrimp & grits were very good. The service was excellent.

The food was incredible! Everyone enjoyed their meal from meatloaf, to tacos, and shrimp n grits. The staff was very friendly and had much knowledge on drink recommendations. Definitely a place I will go again next time I'm in Raleigh.

My husband and I visited last night. The ambiance was great. The menu had a good variety. My dinner was okay. I was disappointed though that the serve mostly Farm raised fish instead of wild caught. Because of that, we will probably not be returning.

I don't know what all the hype is about. The company that I was visiting took us here for a "special treat". The service was ok, the food ok....I was just expecting more. It is a typically dimly lit, very upscale place with small portions...More

I've eaten here twice, the first time for dinner in late 2016 and more recently for lunch in April 2017. The fish featured when we dined was superb, perhaps the best we've ever eaten, and the starters were all quite good. Dessert nothing extraordinary, but...More

You can't go wrong eating here. The food and staff are all simply amazing. The Sherry Crab Soup is as good if not better than in Charleston, SC. And the grits are a must order. All the food is wonderfully prepared--top favorites are hard to...More

I can't remember from memory. I have a GF family member so I appreciate your question. I suggest you call them at 919.861.4318. Their customer service is superb in my experience so I'm sure you can get a quick answer.

Nice casual. Not jacket and tie.

I am working on a mini reunion of high school friends. As of right now, I have no idea how many will be able to attend, but I am thinking about 10-14 people. Does your private dinning area allow for a small group like this? Is there a prefixed menu we can be given an opportunity to choose from, and is there a time limit on use of the private dinning room? Any and all information is greatly appreciated.

18 Seaboard has a very nice function room/private dining area. My wife had a birthday party for me there about 4 years ago with a total of about 25 guests. She was able to select the menu ahead of time and each person got... More
